What we collect
If you allow statistics, Google measurement tools may collect pseudonymous information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source, and visit duration. If you allow campaign measurement, Google may also use identifiers to tell STIS whether an external campaign resulted in a website visit. STIS does not use Google AdSense or place advertisements on this website.
What we deliberately exclude
We do not deliberately send contact-form field values, email addresses, passwords, or staff webmail credentials to Google Analytics or advertising tools. Page measurement removes query strings before sending page addresses. The Staff Email link opens a separate webmail origin with a no-referrer policy; authentication is handled by that service, outside this website.
Your choices
Optional statistical and campaign-measurement storage remain off until you grant the relevant permission. You can reject both, accept both, or choose them separately. Use the cookie icon at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing consent also instructs Google to deny that storage and removes accessible Google measurement cookies set for this site.
Social media
STIS does not currently install social-media tracking cookies or embed social-media content that requires those trackers. If this changes, the relevant category will be added to the consent controls before those technologies are enabled.
Essential preference storage
We store your consent selection in first-party local storage under stis_cookie_consent for approximately six months. It contains only the selected categories and timestamps—not names, email addresses, passwords, or login credentials.
